Yes, we are an official chapter of the Social Media Club (SMC).

Are there dues?

Our professional members are dues-paying members of Social Media Club, a global association for social media professionals. You can sign up for a professional membership at socialmediaclub.org. At this time SMCKC does not offer any special discounts or benefits for professional membership. This process is being updated and our chapter will offer a selected set of benefits for professional members at a later date.

Our local members are SMCKC regular attendees who are on our mailing list. Click here to join our mailing list. Receiving our emails are free; only events cost to attend. 

What about corporate sponsorships/memberships?

There are lots of opportunities for local businesses to join up with SMCKC to expand their brand awareness and get help from the best social media professionals in the city. If you’re interested in sponsoring an event or being a speaker at an event, contact events@smckc.com.

How did we get started?

SMCKC was founded in June 2008 and since then has grown into Social Media Club’s most active chapter in the US. We have a large, vibrant community of regular and professional members.
